He was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and took the time to make sure both systems were operating correctly before leaving. I also showed Peter a separate outdoor TV project involving power and low-voltage wiring. He immediately understood the best approach and provided a straightforward estimate. After struggling to get responses from several other companies, PRO Electric Plus HVAC was responsive, honest, and easy to work with. Peter first helped us install an EV charger and took care of everything including filing all the required permits and helping with the county inspection. More recently, our AC went out during the peak of summer, and Peter came to the rescue. They responded quickly, diagnosed the problem, and had our system up and running again in no time. What really stands out about PRO Electric Plus HVAC is their integrity. It's rare to find a company with this level of expertise in both electrical and HVAC work, and even rarer to find one that's this trustworthy and honest. My house suddenly had an electrical issue and kept tripping the breaker, and I had no idea what was causing it. I contacted several other electricians before, but none of them could figure out the problem. A friend recommended Jason, and he came over and diagnosed everything quickly. He spent about 1–2 hours and completely solved the issue. I really appreciate his professionalism and highly recommend this company!+0

Ryan Yao5 April 2026Kitchen light fixture all the sudden broke down at Saturday night. Called and the technician Peter showed up as soon as he could on the next day. He did a quick examination and recommended us to replace it with a newer model, since the old one was outdated. He later went and got me a replacement from Home Depot and then installed for us quickly. The work is quick and beautiful with a very reasonable price for a weekend work. I highly recommended. I brought in an electrician earlier this week who couldn’t diagnose the issue, but Peter figured out the root cause in just 10 minutes. He walked me through the entire process from A to Z and explained what to expect in terms of pricing and service. His professionalism and clarity are unmatched. He even replaced all of my smoke detectors on the spot. Peter and his team are scheduled to come back on the 24th to resolve my circuit issue, and I have complete confidence in their work. Essence Dashtaray22 October 2025I had some issues with my second floor smoke detector and decided to give PRO Electric a call. They were able to send someone out same day and get things looked at/replaced for me. This service (replacement of a smoke/carbon monoxide detector) comes with a 3-year warranty which is a bonus. Staff was super friendly too. Highly recommend!

Myriam Kunzi15 October 2025Called for an estimate for installing an EV charger at my home. Peter W. came promptly, gave a reasonably priced estimate, complete with providing the charger. Ten days, or so, later the charger was installed with great care, its app and functioning explained to me. Peter W. took even the time to make sure I understood how it integrated with the app pertaining to my car. Peter W. and his assistant were courteous, respectful of property, they worked with alacrity. As they left my car was happily charging. I highly recommend PRO Electric + and in particular Peter W. and his assistant.

Ryan31 August 2025We found ourselves in an emergency situation - we live in an older home and on Saturday night our house breaker panel started to emit a burning smell, was incredibly hot, and you could hear a crackling sound that I later learned was electrical arcing! I called PRO Electric on a Sunday morning, unsure if we could even get help on short notice. Peter answered the phone and said he would have some one over within 2 hours. Jason showed up in less that time. From the start he was courteous and quickly assessed our situation. You could tell he was very knowledgeable, and he communicated everything in a straightforward and honest way that I could understand. We were going to need a new break panel for the house right away. Their schedule was already booked for the next 2-3 weeks, but Jason said he didn't want to leave without addressing the situation. And I could tell he was concerned for our own safety. He gave me a quick estimate (which was very reasonable given it was a weekend/emergency job), and said he could do the job that day. We gave him the go ahead. Being a Sunday, I know Jason even had family obligations later that day, so he sacrificed that time to make sure we were taken care of and our house was safe. Can't thank him and his family enough. Peter and Jason then went ahead and did the work efficiently and excellently, and we had power safely restored that same day. Jason explained everything that was done - they did things the right way, I know, and even answered questions I had that the power company had a hard time answering (or took weeks to answer). We couldn't recommend PRO Electric more. And we want to say thank you and express our appreciate for Peter and, in particular, to Jason who was our main electrician!

J Martin23 July 2025Nothing but highest praise for PRO Electric plus HVAC!! AAA+++ Finally an honest, skilled, courteous, responsive and professional tech services vendor. And, oh, did I say HONEST? 111% Recent thunderstorms caused my A/C condenser box to stop working due to power not running through the main 240v power line from my breaker box. I called PRO Electric and Peter himself responded and took the time to speak with on the phone for over 20 mins, considering how busy they are. Very courteous and kind, Peter scheduled an appointment with me and himself came to investigate the cause of the problem. Fearing I would have to pay thousand$$ in running copper power cables through my condo building, Peter was able to examine and resolve the problem very easily. And to my suprise refused to charge me or even accept a tip for his time. I will not only continue to work with Peter and PRO Electric for any electrical and HVAC needs, but I am also referring them to our condo community. It is not every day one finds an honest and reputable contractor. Thank you again, Peter!!

Ryan I12 June 2025I found this company doing a Google search for “emergency Electrician“ after a repair on one of my HVAC systems led to a short circuit in one of my electrical panels that also powered our other hvac system, refrigerator, stove and Internet. The difference between my experience with other companies, and this is that when I called after hours looking for Emergency service I actually talked to one of the electricians And not an answering service used by some of the other bigger companies. Within approximately one hour of my call, Jason arrived to diagnose the issue and he explained All the problems and the potential fixes to me in a way I would understand. After diagnosing the issue, he went over the estimate with me and we proceeded with the Emergency repair Of my electrical box that was damaged by the HVAC technician and he provided me with a reasonable price for the emergency service. I would highly recommend this company if you want a master electrician for any routine or emergency service.

He was extremely helpful and provided insight in to solutions and also said he would be able to make it SAME DAY. He arrived a few hours later and fixed all my issues. Service was excellent and prices were great too. Happy to have found them and they are now my go for any future issues. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

gigi frank21 May 2025Peter Wang PRO ELECTRIC is very experienced in solving electrical problems such as the complete shut off of electric power at my 70 plus year home, I hired him several months ago and he was the most thorough and precise worker and also his assistants Jason and Eric with this past and present problem SHORT CIRCUIT , They spent hours checking all elect.outlets including ceiling lites, very patient and always communicating well when one has questions, he will offer suggestions example my internet was totally kaput he suggested running an extension cord from working outlet in kitchen to computer to access mail, etc I would not hesitate to always work with them, also very friendly and gentlemen, well wishes to their parents instilling honesty and excellent work ethics.

Isaac Mei19 April 2025Pro Electric was amazing! They picked up the phone at 7:30 on a Saturday morning when my smoke alarms wouldn’t stop being problematic. Peter came out within three hours, addressed and fixed the problem. Nothing but friendly and professional and even offered to help vacuum! Gonna be sticking with them for all electric-related issues in my home from now on.

I was in a tough spot after moving into a new home with multiple tripped outlets that I couldn’t figure out how to fix. Peter initially scheduled me for the next day, but when a cancellation opened up, he immediately called back and came the same day to address the issue. Not only did he quickly diagnose and fix the electrical outlets, but he also took the time to enable the humidifier on my HVAC system and set up a healthy configuration to ensure my home was comfortable and safe for my family. Brad27 December 2024Our power went out on the afternoon of Christmas Day 🙄. I called Pro Electric and a real person answered the phone. They had an electrician at our door at 6:30 a.m. December 26. Peter quickly diagnosed a complicated problem--what turned out to be an outside underground line issue that had fried some things inside. He walked me through getting in touch with Dominion Energy to fix the line problem, which took many hours, then came back at 5:00 p.m. the same day to identify and fix the knock-on inside problems, including at the main breaker panel. Also installed a modern panel surge protector at my request. Finally left well after the dinner hour. Outstanding service. Fair pricing too.

Peter provided an estimate up front and sent reminder texts before the appointment. During the appointment, Peter was knowledgeable about the device, installation, and setup. All the materials were cleaned up. They also offer a 3 year warranty on installation, which is generous.

They have been professional, able to quickly diagnose and resolve issues, and also have gone above and beyond including coming out Christmas day a few years ago after we lost power (and therefore heat). Most recently we put in a non emergency request on Sunday night and they had restored power to our porch by Monday afternoon. I would highly recommend the company to anyone looking for electrical services.

Tim Norvell16 August 2024These guys are great. Would recommend and would work with them again. Reasonable pricing. Practical recommendations. Technically accurate. Enjoyable to work with. Nothing sensational; just recommend the work that needs to be completed. Details below. - - - We had an “electrical event” at our house. Likely a power surge, but there is no way to truly know. Symptoms: Suddenly (seemingly overnight) some breakers would trip under the slightest load. Electronic devices attached to some circuits were behaving erratically. Protection circuits inside power strips all over the house had been tripped. Some breakers were physically damaged internally, and were extremely easy to open. We brought three companies in for quotes. The first company (NOT Pro Electric) had a sensational assertion that all of our supply equipment had to be replaced, including all breakers, breaker box, and the outside supply box. They gave a staggering five figure estimate. They suggested ignoring the repair could result in fire. Pro Electric confirmed that most breakers were indeed damaged. They suggested replacing the power panel and breakers. Their calm, reasonable, practical approach had already won me over, then they found a ground wire issue that the other companies had missed - an issue that was obvious in hindsight. Based on the condition of the wire, it has been a problem for a very long time. They repaired this on the spot. Their quote was reasonable. We filed an insurance claim and hired them. The work they performed was high quality and their presence on site was warm and professional. They upgraded our home to modern code. They handled the permitting and the inspection was passed today without issue. Power in our home is stable and clean, and we are protected by a whole house surge protector. We would not hesitate to recommend Pro Electric, and we would do business with them again. Thank you very much, Pro Electric!

Sarah Hobbs20 June 2024I highly recommend Pro Electric. We lost power from melted wiring within our meter box. The power company said they weren’t responsible for fixing it. We called Pro Electric and they were able to come out the same day and check out the issue. Peter worked through so many bureaucratic issues with Arlington County to get us power back as fast as possible. He was punctual, professional and extremely competent. Peter even called to check on us days after restoring power. Pro Electric was also reasonably priced. Hands down we would use Pro Electric again for any electrical needs.

Make sure you reach out to them with as much notice as possible, because they get booked quickly (makes sense, given how great the work is). Jason and his colleague Jose were efficient in installing 3 ceiling fans, a chandelier (tricky, non American standard, but they still made it work), a powder room wall outlet, and 2 bedroom wall sconces. They were even able to wire in some dimmer switches for me as a last second request, while they were completing the other tasks. The crew has many standard items like switches, dimmers, plugs, etc on hand for an on-the-spot install. One of the fans I bought had a faulty motor, and Jason made sure to squeeze me in immediately the following week to get the correct fan installed. They even installed a video doorbell for me and hardwired it to work with my existing chime (something I could not figure out myself). Jason and his team are also very flexible about offering advice for correct placement of switches and junctions. Moreover, their prices are extremely fair and reasonable for the quality of their work, and the knowledge that they have. I will always work with Jason, Jose, and the team at Pro Electric for all of my electrical and wiring needs going forward. Thank you guys again!

It's a very professional company (booking the appointment was a breeze and the schedule reminders were helpful). They showed up on time, were friendly and knowledgable, offered suggestions that saved us money and they handled several issues we were having with indoor and outdoor lighting and outlets. They also fixed a pull chain on a ceiling fan for us. The cost was super reasonable, especially given the fact that three men and trucks were here at one point. My sense is that this company goes the extra mile to attract and maintain customers. So happy to have found them and I can tell you we will be repeat customers!!

Wes Wes6 April 2023The Pro Electric guys worked tirelessly to address my issue. My outlets keep on tripping after the Tesla starts charging, and it's a very unusual issue. They came by three times to make sure the problem is fixed and worked till very late in the evening. They only charged me for the issue itself, even though they spent many more hours than originally intended. A very honest company! Highly recommended.

I can usually install smaller light fixtures myself but this time the new lighting we bought for our dinning table was a bit too big for one non-professional to handle. So I called these guys for help and they just took care of it easy and simple. They also installed a new ceiling light in my 7 yr-old's bedroom and fixed one of the 3-way light switches in the living room. No more need be said. When finding the right contractors is harder than finding gold these days, especially in this area, I will never go to anyone else for my electrical needs.+0

V'ron BEE: VB15 October 2022Wow I’m glad to have found these master electricians! Btw certified M. E. Are always expensive- so it’s not fair to take off any points for that. They responded immidiately to my request and were able to come out in 2 days. The best is I never had to talk on the phone! (I was able to communicate digitally!!! Ty). The electrician who came out was super polite and fixed my complicated issue for the price I was quote! He also took a look at my circuit breaker that I had recently replaced to make sure it looked good. Advised me to het a whole house surge protector gave me the price and didn’t pressure me. I so appreciate that! If u need an electrician. I highly recommend these guys!! I loved my last electricians but they haven’t been responding to emails recently so it was time for me to look elsewhere and I’m glad I found Peter and PRO Electric!

Peter gave me a fair price on the spot, was able to come out quickly, and had the scaffolding needed for the tall ceilings. They showed up on time and completed the install extremely efficiently. Sam28 September 2022Initially contacted Peter (via Thumbtack) to install an outlet so I could try and replace my sink disposal that was leaking (by myself). To my surprise he told me he could also replace the disposal! Peter came the following day and installed both the outlet and disposal underneath the kitchen sink. Peter had shoe covers on, face mask and did a great job at a reasonable price. I'm happy, no more leaking disposal.+0
